The U15's have just returned from a very successful tour to Holland. More here.

The Burrough League Team have finished runners-up in their league.

Latest Friendly team reports here, thanks to Charles Richardson.

We have had some considerable financial support over the last 3 years from a number of funding partners & sponsors but as we now move into the final stages of the new ground project we are asking for your help in securing the  final monies  required to start the pavilion build.

We are asking our members, supporters, companies, local businesses etc to sponsor a brick for our ‘Wall of Support’. The wall will feature in a prominent position in the new pavilion.

You are free to have wording of your choice (subject to the clubs approval) on  your brick & you are not restricted to having just one brick.

Each brick costs a minimum of £50 but you may donate more if you wish.

We really hope that you’ll be able to support the club in the final stages of our project.
Every pound we can raise now will help us provide a top-class sporting facility.

Application forms are available from Kev Bennett, Charlie Scott, Dick Reeve or Neil Wedge. More Details here.

The 1st & 2nd teams are currently top of their respective league divisions.

The latest 100 Club draw was won by Jamie Wild. New members would be very welcome.

This year we are running junior league teams at U9, U10, U11, U13, U15 & U17 levels.

Scotts of Thrapston have now completed the construction of the new Junior Pavilion.

 More pictures here.

The 2010 range of club playing & social wear can be found here.

Many thanks to all of the volunteers that helped with the repair & renovation of the covers, mower & pavilion over the NatWest Cricket Force weekend.

In addition to the shirts/tops available last season we now have a new leisure shirt, training top & Twenty/20-cup cricket shirt also available. If you would like any new club kit please contact Adi Salt or Kev Bennett before the end of March. All of the clubs sportswear is now supplied by  www.dkwsportswear.co.uk

The NatWest Cricket Force initiative took place over the weekend of 27th/28th of March this year & we had good help & support from local businesses in the donation of time & materials as we prepared the club for the new season. With our new ground development also ongoing it is an idea time any local firms or individuals to become involved in our community sports project. If you would like more information on how we could benefit each other,  please contact us.

Ben Collins was voted the Rutland League Young Player of the Year 2009. Ben was presented with his award by Leicestershire's Matt Boyce at the Rutland League dinner held at Peterborough Golf Club.

BCYCA U13 Cup Final 2008..

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking all of our 2009 sponsors & hoping that we can look forward to your continued support in 2010. Any new sponsors of the club would be very welcome as we look to build for the future.

More senior player profiles needed please. Form here.

The clubs annual dinner & presentation evening was held at The Falcon hotel & was once again a great success with 160 of the clubs players, supporters & sponsors attending. Many thanks to all those that attended. Pictures.

Following last years dismal response to the request for photos of club members in their UTCC shirts around the world, I thought we would give it another try this year. The first picture received was from Ed Scott who wore his shirt while over in Kenya.

We are a Focus Club & we have now also gained ECB ClubMark accreditation whereby we have demonstrated that we are fully equipped in every sense to look after youngsters and promote cricket to the youth of the community.

To comply with ClubMark regulations we have a Child Welfare Officer and we ensure that sufficient qualified coaches and supplementary     helpers are always available to look after all of our colts.

All of our coaches and helpers have undergone Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and all coaches have taken first aid courses in addition to their level 1 or 2 cricket coaching courses.

You can rest assured that your children are in safe hands at the club.

We are looking to find out as much about the clubs history as possible. If  you have any old documents, photographs etc that relate to the club that we could have, or have copies of, please pass them on to a committee member.

Any early memories or stories about the club would also be of great interest. Many thanks to club president the late Peter Scott for his contribution.

If any club captains or officials have any reports or information that they would like posted on the site, please send it to me at kevbennett@uppinghamtowncc.co.uk  (Ideally in Word or Excel formats).

We have added a Player Profiles section to all teams. If you would like to add your profile you can download a form here.
